Master Bed

For our first Christmas in 2008, my husband surprised me with making a queen size bed frame. Since getting married we had our mattress on the floor. Day and night, sneaking around, he built the entire bed at his uncles house without me having a clue. Well, he would come home from time to time covered in sawdust so I had an inkling that he was doing some woodwork, but never in my wildest dreams would I have thought he could do something like build a bed out of wood. He had bought plans to build it, but for the life of me I can't find them right now. I'll come back and edit when I find them.



This picture was taken shortly after the bed was build. Landis, my husband, didn't finish the headboard till some years later. (college students priorities, right)
